Great point Kwesi on Howard. Forgot about the half-court shots and shows the immaturity of a 23 year old. I will not agree with you on the Mark Jackson. Haha. He has been terrible in these Finals.

You wonder how hard DH works at it...they show him before the game throwing underhand halfcourt shots while Kobe was shootings free throws 3 hours before the game determined to not miss in the 4th quarter(through his extra work he noticed something in his elbow. could you see dwight making a similar adjustment? ).
And trust me, you still love Mark Jackson. "Look Mama, there goes that man!"

As a Knicks fan (yup Knicks!)I can't totally side with you on point #2. I have way too many childhood memories of the great Patrick Ewing. Besides that I completely agree. Good stuff!

While I didn't manage to catch as much of g2 as I wanted to, I do love your mention (point #2)of fundamental basketball.

Checking for a drop step/baby hook without putting the ball on the floor, chinning it, is something many high school players already know. These types of things should be the first addressed at any stage of player development.

One of my main concerns and subsequently a big reason I feel LA will win in 5/6 is based solely on DH.

LA has more physical and offensively skilled bigs. LA pushes the ball more. LA has more than 1 person who can effectively score around the bucket.

For these reasons alone I felt that LA would easily win this series.

DH IMO although a great, raw talent, isn't seasoned enough at this point. He hasn't had foul trouble yet, we know he will have at least 1 game this series where he limits his own productivity because of it.

Faster LA pace = easier buckets in transition. We saw them outline it on SC I think?

I think that improved D on Howard ultimately limits the quality of shots Orlando has had/will have over the duration of this series.
