It was pretty amazing - I can't help but think that the Celts must be mentally wiped at this point, though.

Jaime- Good article. I have this argument all the time and I am usually outnumbered. I agree the NBA playoffs are better than the NCAA tournament. In part because a long series ends up producing these interesting story lines with twists and turns and heroes and villains (and some cases both in the same person)as you pointed out. In a head to head matchup an NBA series just usually produces the better team with better players, coaches, etc. The NCAA tournament doesn't often do that, which makes it fun in a different way. The NCAA tourney I think is more exciting kinda like a sugar rush. It is easier for fans to follow with the winner that moves on declared in a couple of hours rather than a couple of weeks (for some of the 7 game series'). March Madness is all on the same tv channel. It takes the NBA playoffs to leave you thinking "what else could possibly happen?" after 6 great games like the Bulls-Celtics series.

Seriously one of the best series ever. Even Bill Simmons can't describe it. It is awe inspiring and magical.

Can I just say that Ray Allen's performance last night will go down in history as one of the most impressive things I've ever seen in my whole life? Not the best performance of an NBA basketball player. Not the best playoff performance. No, one of the most impressive things I've ever seen in my life.
