Category: Rebounding
Skill Level: Middle School, High School+
Required: 1 Basketball, 2 Players
Instructions:
One player has the ball and starts the drill in the right corner baseline. The second player is on defense to simulate game action.
The player with the ball starts the drill by dribbling at a 45 degree angle towards the foul line with the left hand. The defender stays with the ball-handler, and when they get to the foul line area, the defender jumps in front of the offensive player to force them to change directions.
Once the dribbler reaches the left “key,” the player changes direction and does a cross over dribble to the right hand and head back towards the right sideline moving up the court. Once the dribbler reaches the right sideline and the defender forces the dribble to change directions, the dribbler does a cross over dribble, changes directions and heads at a 45 degree angle towards the left key area extended.
The drill is repeated until the players reaches the other end of the court.
