Most of you know by now that Arne Duncan was appointed Secretary of Education by President Elect Obama. What most of you probably do not know is that he is one heck of a basketball player.

In fact, the basketball team, I mean the cabinet that Obama has put together is quite formidable on the court. Here is a list of links talking about Obama and his basketball friendly cabinet:

• As Truehoop pointed out to us, supposedly, Obama and Duncan met on the basketball court.

• Apparently on Obama’s high school basketball team, Obama’s nickname was “Barry O’Bomber” for his outside shooting.

Now this is one company Basketball team I would not want to face. The refs would be more one-sided than Dick Bavetta in the 90’s with the Knicks.
