Well, to start, Tyreke Evans was injured and didn't play, so I cannot comment on that one. I agree, I'd love to know how good he is.

I don't think LA would be better with Lebron. LA is big enough already and needs a shooting guard to counter their inside presence. Not that Lebron plays as a big man, but he does play as a slasher were as Kobe focuses a lot more on jumpshooting.

Casspi is strange. I think there is a bit of a PR issue in that he would not be a good person to market. He whines too much and is a bit eccentric. He was constantly talking to the refs and other players the whole game and the whole feeling of the guy just came off quite wierd. Nobody sitting around us liked him at all. As a player, he was decent, although his jump shot is a bit suspect.

Some of the many questions that I have (with some random commentary thrown in here and there),

How good is Tyreke Evans? - Personally I think he is the real deal. Sure maybe not a definite position but isn't that where basketball is going? Just wanted to ask a guy who saw him in person.

How much better do you think LA would be if they had Lebron instead of Kobe? Undefeated? Like, does Kobe's lack of GENUINE leadership have a lot to do with how flat LA comes out sometimes? Or is Kobe the better fit on that team. Like, would Lebron's reluctance to post up hurt him in the triangle or his willingness to settle for jump shots instead of driving by everyone in the league for layups/dunks make him not as good for LA? Is the Kobe vs. Lebron discussion even close? Let's open up this discussion and throw in D-Wade in the mix. Should be fun.

Why isn't Casspi a household name yet? Who is doing PR for this guy? The best Jewish player ever...by far right? I feel like Jewish-Americans(is this PC?)should be rallying around this guy like the Chinese did with Yao (let's be real...Asians period rallied...they gotta get it when they can right?...I mean how many Asian ballers are there gonna be period). Someone needs to step up here, I nominate Jaime. The Star of David is the shining bright!

(Speaking of the Star of David and just Davids in general...any coincidence how much that "snowflake" on the NBA uniforms for the teams that played on Christmas looked like the Star of David? David Stern is good...like, really good.)

And I'm out...
