Syracuse’s Devendorf granted extra year

by Jaime on September 23, 2008

Good news for Syracuse Orange fans, Eric Devendorf was granted an extra year of athletic eligibility.

The Big East has approved his hardship waiver after he missed 25 of the ‘Cuse’s 35 games last year due to a torn ACL injury. At the time of his injury, the sharpshooter was averaging 17 points a game. The extra year should be quite beneficial for Jim Boeheim and the Orange after back to back solid recruiting classes. Look for the Orange to be in the top half of the Big East in the coming years.

In other Syracuse Men’s basketball news, Gerry McNamara will be coming back for his 15th year.

Eric Devendorf wins the award for worst tattoos in college basketball.

Just wanted to make sure everyone knew that…

And just to make it clear, the absolute worst!
