Arkansas’ John Brown University wipes its tailpipe with your concept of hoops history and folklore. That’s because the small, Christian school in Siloam Springs, Arkansas has one of the most awesomest traditions in college basketball.
After the first made bucket in Golden Eagles first home game of the season, the fans all huck toilet paper onto the hardwood.

Pay special attention to 1) the fist-pump from the guy who makes the basket, 2) the mascot and flag-running in the background, and 3) the referee in the foreground who has no idea what to call. Classic stuff.
Yes, they take a technical, but I think they get more out of it than Pistons fans do from a ’sheed T.
Much like Bon Jovi, seems that this has been going on since the 80’s. This year’s cottonelle contest is slated for this weekend. Probably don’t want to use the dorm bathrooms on Friday. Chances are, the TP dispensers will be dry.
